In October 2003, Shanghai Hanhong Company was established in the Science and Technology Park of East China University of Science and Technology.

In October 2003, Shanghai Hanhong Company established a laboratory at East China University of Science and Technology to conduct research and development on new technologies for biocatalytic production of non natural amino acids.

In October 2005, Shanghai Hanhong Company purchased land in Yancheng Coastal Chemical Park and built a production base. The company was named Binhai Hanhong Biochemical Co., Ltd.

In 2015, the biocatalytic industrial technology of Shanghai Hanhong Company was appraised by the Science and Technology Bureau of Yancheng City, and the technical level of enzymatic production of non natural amino acid series products was internationally advanced

In 2016, Shanghai Hanhong Company was restructured as a limited liability company.

In 2016, the enzymatic production of non natural amino acids by Binhai Hanhong Company was awarded the Jiangsu Province Major Science and Technology Achievement Transformation Project.

In 2019, Gaotang Aohan Biotechnology Co., Ltd. was established.

In 2019, Gansu Hanju Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. was established.

In 2020, Haihuiyu Biopharmaceutical Co., Ltd. was established.

In 2021, Gansu Hanju Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. was put into operation;

In 2021, Gansu Huijian Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. was established.

In 2021, Shanghai Hanhong Company undertook the Ministry of Science and Technology's major green manufacturing project, continuing to strengthen basic research on enzymatic production of non natural amino acid series products.

In 2022, Shanghai Hongti Biotechnology Co., Ltd. was established.
