    Biochemistry: This peptide aldehyde corresponds to one of the cleavage sites of the inactive 32 kD caspase-3 precursor (amino acids 172-175). In a concentration range of 0.5 礛, it blocked the formation of the p17 subunit and concomitantly induced the accumulation of the 32 kD precursor.
